In life we have many choices, professional pursuits, a place to live, how we choose to spend our time, etc. Years ago, quite by accident, I chose to move to Coeur d´Alene Idaho. The place sounded enchanting. A French name, with a history in mining and lumber. Old photos of steamboats adorn the walls of businesses started at the turn of the century.

At first my young bride was thoroughly convinced that she had made two serious mistakes, our marriage and the choice of where we were going to live.

It snowed3;every day for almost a month. We had one automobile and she was expecting our first. We literally had to dig our way out of our rented house. When the snow was as deep as our windows she was ready to move, some place south. All she could do was make her way out to the mailbox.I was constantly on the road trying to build a business. Life was no joy.

Eventually the snow melted and that spring our first was born. That was 36 years ago and today we wouldn´t have changed a thing. My point is this, Cd´A is a great place to live, raise a family, work, retire or just visit. If you don´t like the weather, just wait a little while and it will change. We have variety, in everything. I´ve seen it snow in late May and short sleeve weather in January. We work hard, play hard and disagree within the community with the same amount of enthusiasm. Every one recognizes what a gem this community is and strives to preserve it.

Educators work hard at their craft. Private enterprise thrives. Civic leaders strive to do what they feel will improve our community. We have Big Box stores and Mom and Pop shops. We have new and a great mix with the old. We have the best health care in the West. The irony is that the new folks in town want to make Cd´A like where they came from and the old timers say, "if it was that good back there, you´re invited to return."

Welcome to one of the best places on earth.

If I seem a little straight forward3; well I can be. Some one once said, "If you want your information sugar coated3; don´t ask Norm."

I work hard for my buyers and sellers alike. I believe that information and communication form the backbone for success. I´m looking forward to the opportunity to help.
